The local international airport is only a short drive away and Chania City with the picturesque Venetian Harbor is about 10-15 mins by car. Akrotiri Peninsula offers plenty of sandy beaches some of which top Crete's to-visit list, including Stavros, Loutraki and Seitan Limani. Those who perfer staying locally, supermarket more tavernas and the nearest beach is only a 10 minute walk.
