Location

The town of Monti is located in the municipality of San Gimignano, famous Old Town in the province of Siena. It is a small walled city midway between Florence and Siena, is famous for its architecture and for its beautiful medieval towers that make the city unique profile. Declared Patrimony of 'Humanity' by UNESCO in 1990, San Gimignano is one of the little gems of the province of Siena and also offers excellent local products such as saffron and white wine called Vernaccia di San Gimignano. It is about 50Km from Siena and Florence. Landmarks like Certaldo, Monteriggioni and Volterra fall within a 30Km radius.
